Gutters & gutter protection: how to pick a system that works
Gutters are an important feature to your house that deserve your serious consideration. Even though you probably don’t think of them much they do a couple of very important jobs. Gutters help to keep us from getting drenched when coming in & out of your house, and they also help deep your crawl spaces & basements dry by carrying away 100’s of gallons of water away from your house. So you should give some thought to choosing the right size of gutters & downspouts as well as guards for the tops of your gutters.

1.) With a digital camera take some pictures of every side of the house make sure to take the pictures far enough away to include the complete elevation, if you can’t get far enough away be sure to note this in the description & name sides front, right, rear, left, in that order.
2.) Make a rough drawing of the outline of the house & specify where gutters are to be installed & where the gables are on the house, just a line drawing of the perimeter of the house will do, be sure to include measurements of the runs & include 1st story or 2nd story. Make sure to specify any downspouts that feed into existing underground drain-tiles.
3.) Up load the pictures & the drawing in the areas provided on the form below. There are 7 areas available for upload if you need additional areas to up load items you may need to fill out form more than once.
4.) Please be sure to give a brief description of your project & any special details, here is where you would specify the type of gutter guard you prefer though I only recommend either a powder coated gutter screen or leaf relief by Alcoa please be sure to mention this in your description of the project.
